Introduction

Addis Ababa is the seat of the African Union and its predecessor the Organization of African Unity since its establishment in May 1963. The City also hosts the Economic Commission for Africa, over one hundred diplomatic missions, international and regional organizations. Numerous high level conferences, summits, meetings and special events  are held in the city. The following is a listing of major upcoming events.
